During the 2nd project meeting in Debrecen, Hungary, on the 6th of September, the partners discussed on the progress achieved so far, and the coming steps, especially as concerns the upcoming open call for the selection of the municipalities to benefit under C-Track 50. The consortium focused on all thematic work areas, emphasizing on multi-level governance and the collaboration achieved so far with the regional and national authorities. The second day was dedicated to a capacity building activity on multi-level governance and sustainable energy and climate planning, where partners exchanged best practices and experiences, and also tried to identify 6 basic aspects, which are important to MLG for climate and energy through a group exercise. These key aspects include (1) Reaching of targets and burden sharing, (2) Leadership and setting examples, (3) Communication/dissemination and cooperation, (4) Merging of local and national needs, (5) Funding and (6) Co-creation and –development.
