PentaHelix The PentaHelix project aims at the development and implementation of a novel approach for integrated multi-governance sustainable energy and climate planning, both horizontal and vertical, bringing together five crucial pillars of society: public and private sector, academia, NGO-s and citizens (the PentaHelix). Regional task forces will be established, bringing in key stakeholders and target groups, to successfully implement this action and expand its impact. The PentaHelix approach will be tested in at least 8 pilot municipalities in Norway, Croatia, Belgium, Spain and Latvia. |

Compete4SECAP The Compete4SECAP project (C4S) aims at helping local authorities put their existing Sustainable Energy Action Plans (SEAPs) into action. The project promotes the adoption of standardized energy management systems in municipalities through the coordination of national competitions and peer-to-peer exchanges which steer the attention and involvement of local to national authorities in 8 European countries. The project also facilitates the upgrade of SEAPs into Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plans (SECAPs), as per new planning approaches promoted by the Covenant of Mayors. |

LIFE ADAPTATE LIFE ADAPTATE aims to increase the involvement of European municipalities with the Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy by developing local adaptation plans which will be integrated in the previous mitigation objectives of several municipalities, giving a comprehensive approach to the fight against climate change. In this direction, LIFE ADAPTATE proposes the improvement of climate policy and legislation both at local αnd European level for the 2030 climate and energy package aimed at achieving GHG reduction, energy efficiency improvement and increasing renewable energy production.
