C-Track 50 being on its final mile, is co-organizing, along with PENTAHELIX and the Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy - Europe, a massive event consisting of 3 workshops between the 20th of May and the 1st of June.
On the 14th of October, C-Track 50 joined forces with the PROSPECT 2030 (Interreg) and E-Fix projects (H2020) to host a virtual Q&A session for the European Week of Regions and Cities.
The 6th project meeting of C-Track 50 was realised via an online platform (Microsoft Teams) due to the COVID-19 pandemic on the 15th, 16th and 17th of September. Over the first two days, the discussion on the project’s progress regarding SECAPs and funding proposals preparation, and the challenges raised by the pandemic on the collaboration with the beneficiary municipalities was in the focus.
The 5th project meeting of C-Track 50, realised in Poznan, Poland, on the 12th and 13th of February 2020, aimed at discussing the work progress over the last 5 months and present the overall results achieved so far. The upcoming steps and work planning for the months to come were also in the discussion focus.
The 4th project meeting of C-Track 50, realised in Athens, Greece, on the 18th of September, aimed at discussing the work progress for the first 18 months, in sight of the upcoming Interim Report, but also exchange on the next steps. To this end, the results of the national roundtables regarding the recommendations on national energy policy priorities for 2050 were presented.
The EU roundtable included topics on EU climate and energy policy; data monitoring and sharing; potential decarbonisation scenarios for 2050; and challenges for carbon neutrality and the role of multi-level governance.
The 3rd project meeting of C-Track 50 was realised in Oviedo, Spain, on the 5th and 6th of February. Apart from the presentation of the work progress and the upcoming steps, focus has been given on formulating recommendations on national energy policy priorities for 2050 and fostering multi-level cooperation and governance, as well as on Regional/Local Energy and Climate Policy Plans for the same time horizon.
During the 2nd project meeting in Debrecen, Hungary, on the 6th of September, the partners discussed on the progress achieved so far, and the coming steps, especially as concerns the upcoming open call for the selection of the municipalities to benefit under C-Track 50. The consortium focused on all thematic work areas, emphasizing on multi-level governance and the collaboration achieved so far with the regional and national authorities.
The kick off meeting for C-Track 50 took place in Funchal, Madeira, on the 11th and 12th of April, 2018. It was an excellent opportunity for the partners to meet in person, get to know each other and discuss in detail their upcoming activities, setting the basis for a successful future collaboration.
